At Dietwerks ("DWC"), personal privacy is of the utmost importance to us.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we treat the information we collect, and
we believe that it is important that we share this policy with our users. If

Information Collection and Use
DWC is the sole owner of the information collected on the DWC site. We will
not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from
what is disclosed in this statement. At no time does DWC collect any information
from our users other than that information our users voluntarily give to us and
this is done at several different points on our website.
Information Collected
In order to create a customized program for you, DWC must collect certain
information about you including, but not limited to, your age, weight, sex.
In addition a user will have to enter information regarding their eating
habits, activity level, as well as their desired weight in their member
profile. We will ask only for the information we need in order to provide
the highest level of service to you.
Your email address is required for your DWC account. Your email address brings
you a number of DWC features: update messages from DWC notifying you of our
services. In general, the messages you receive from us are compiled into a
single email message that arrives no more than once a day.
DWC will not sell or rent any of the personally identifiable information that
you enter. DWC may use this information to target specific advertisements or to
suggest items to you. DWC will reveal any information needed to comply with any
applicable laws or legal proceedings.
Payment Form
We request credit card information on our payment form. Here a user must
provide name as on card, billing address, credit card number and expiration
date. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer orders.
If we have trouble processing an order, our customer service representatives will
get in touch with the user.
We outsource credit card processing to bill users for services. The payment gateway
provider do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information
for any secondary purposes other than to bill the user for services requested.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information
about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable
information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply
terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have
to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a
user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is
that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. Cookies can also enable us
to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements,
and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not
linked to personally identifiable information.
Links
This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we at DWC, are not
responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to
be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and
every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy
statement applies solely to information collected by DWC.
Polls & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests.
Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user
therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Contact
information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information
will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of
this site.
Email-a-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our
site, we ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address. DWC will
automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the
site. DWC stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this
one-time e-mail. The friend may contact us to request the
removal of this information from our database.
Security
Your account is protected through a username and password. It is your
responsibility to protect this information. DWC is not a secure server,
and none of the information is encrypted when transmitted.
Site and Service Updates
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not
able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important
information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide
requested services and in regards to issues relating to his or her
account via e-mail.
Correction/Updating Personal Information:
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your
e-mail address), we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update that
user's personal data provided to us. This can be done at the Member Centre under
Personal Information.
End of Program
At the end of your paid subscription your account will be automatically
closed and it will not be accessible by anyone through the web,
but your information will remain in our archives.
DWC reserves the right to terminate your membership if DWC learns that you
are abusing your membership or not adhering to the User Agreement.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
DWC changes this privacy statement to reflect any changes in our policy. The
statement will have a date of last change posted at the bottom, to alert you
to any changes.
